DEVRY DELUXE 16MM MOVIE CAMERA
DeVry Company, Chicago, Illinois 1930
The DeVry DeLuxe 16mm with a 3-lens turret, was a step up from DeVry's Model 47 having a single lens. Introduced in 1930,
the camera was constructed of Bakelite and featured a nice complement of
lenses.
At a retail price of $250, this represented something
probably approaching $5,000 US today. With
the Great Depression just underway, sales were very poor and relatively few
were probably ever manufactured.
